How do you guys get your hooks in tight?

Featured Replies

I'm going to be attempting at making some poppers this evening. I am curious as to how you guys get your hooks to stay in so well. A screw in eye hook, right? any adhesive to make it a permanant thing? Then a split ring, then the trebles, right? thanks.

long screw eye or twisted stainless steel loop. whichever you use, be sure to epoxy it in.

i used the ones with the long threads , so it would be up the body about 3/4 or more but not out the other side, i start the holes before i paint , then after, i dabbed some adhesive on the threads, then tighten them down all the way with pliers ..
