New Years Day Swimbait Feast

Featured Replies

I hit up a pond today trying to get my new year bassin on. Water temp was 48 which is good for this area this time of year. Air temp was 40 with 20mph gusts. First lure thrown was my reliable rig walker and they were hitting it hard and often. Next I threw a 6'' swimbait and put some time in with that. Ended up catching over 20 including   a couple nice ones on the bigger swimbait . One was upper 4's. Wearing sneakers my feet were numb after a few hours and I packed it up.
