Lake Nottely?

Featured Replies

We are headed up to Blairsville in March with some friends. How is the fishing in March? Probably rent a pontoon for everyone a day or two.

I think we are staying southeast area... Thanks for any info.

Will depend on water temp but so far we have had a mild winter. Last week the water temp at Blue Ridge wich is just down the road was still in the high 50s. Should be in a pre spawn pattern when you get there and moving up from deeper water. Don't know what you are use to fishing but Nottely like the rest of our lakes is deep and clear. Nottely is know for its stripper and hybrid fishing but it also has a good population of spots and crappie. Hope this helps haven't fished that lake in awhile.

hit it up today. Threw off the bank this morning, zoom lizards and wigglers. Caught a spot and bream on the wigglers.

Caught a spot on zoom lizard yesterday.

Went out with friends later today, got a few dozen blue backs, caught 5 or 6 spots and one striper. All small, biggest maybe 1.5#

Not a great day, but sure beats sitting in the cabin listening to the kids whine about no tv.
