Fish finder battery

Featured Replies

I have a Humminbird 1199 that I purchased 3 months ago. What battery do you prefer or have used for a unit like that?

Also do you use alligator clamps or what kind do you prefer?

I have three units that size. All of mine are connected to a group 27 deep cycle battery with ring terminals at the battery and a 3A spade type fuse/holder at the battery for each one on it's positive wire.

What is your application and why would you consider alligator clips?

I was wondering if let's say a cabela battery would be okay with the unit. Like this one

Do you have picture of the fuse holder or info on how to put one on.

i have a similar battery to the one you posted.   wayne is right on, it runs my lowrance 4x hdi for about 6-8 hours.  Typically closer to 6 hours before it loses battery power.

Depends on how long you need power and the battery weight you can tolerate.

You haven't stated what your application is.

Am not very good at this:
