Just got into takle making.  I have been hand carving minnow baits, and have 3 made.  Designs similar to Shadraps and Floating Rapala.f

when I tested them they had no wobble, they just dive. 

Any Ideas why no wobble?  what am I missing?

Wood baits have lead ballast in the belly which stabilizes them and allows the lip to operate.  If you are copying a bait, it's a good idea to weigh the original on a digital scale and build your copy to the same finished weight.
