My answer as of now is square bills. However, I saw a video tip where in heavy wood cover a guy took his lipless crank and removed the front hook to make it more weedless. I can't wait to try it out this spring. Just not going to throw a livingston lure in to try this, will start with a cheaper trap.

Ive heard about that too but never tried it...I think I just might have to this spring as well..

I prefer deep diving ( 6-8ft ) square bills that dig up the ground and tend to bounce off of wood when Im crankin....

Don't know, still trying to figure out how you fish out of one.  Do they make an inflatable or something.  Maybe a Transformer model, one you take it out of your tackle box and it expands out into a boat.
