Lew's Tournament Pro HP spinning Reel

Featured Replies

Does anybody have experience with this reel? It's up for consideration if I upgrade my current spinning reel.

Morning bump...still try to get first hand impressions of this reel. Thanks.

TW got one in their sale section for $75

Yeah, I see that but I would really like to get some opinions of people who have first-hand knowledge of the reel.

I know Lew's makes GREAT baitcast reels so I would think there spinning reels would be just as good!

I own one lews spinning reel (tournament speed spin) and I have regretted buying it ever since I bought it last year. It's been nothing but trouble. It's not smooth what so ever and there is a clicking noise that I can feel and here turning the handle. They do make some great baitcasters but I honestly stay away from the spinning reels. Maybe look at pflueger in that price range.
