Quicksilver 3000 throttle control fix?

So I'm doing some winter repairs and fixes and noticed there is some slop in the throttle lever on my 3000 series control. Are there any good vids that show how this comes apart? Is there a parts refresh kit for these? Maybe just an adjustment?

    When I had my older boat I bought an aftermarket Mercury mechanic manual and it had the 3000 controller in it. you might find one for your merc and it should have it.

    Its really simple once you open it up. Not a whole lot to do other than grease it up.
