Looking at one of these to pair with my MojoBass 7' Medium FA Tubes/Grubs rod.

Also what size would you go with?

This is going to be a medium setup to go along with my Medium/Light setup which is a St Croix Premier ML rod w/Shimano Stradic 2000.

 

6930 is a good all around bass size in the pfluger. 

 

 

I don't think either one will balance on the heavy-ish 7ft. Mojo.  Mojo's are not especially light rods. Especially not the MGX which is a very light reel. You'd need to add a Dahlberg balancer in to the butt cap otherwise it would drive you nutz.....

if it is one of the new mojo's, they are much lighter than the old ones.  Scorpifish, save your money and just get a Pflueger supreme 30 size.  no need to get a superlight reel for a mojo bass rod.  or spend more money on your rod instead of the reel
