I was hoping someone could help me out.  I have a fishing trip planned for late march to go down to kentucky lake for a long weekend. I am from northern Indiana and I am having a hard time finding an answer to my question... We are launching from the Kentucky end of the lake.  My question is if we venture south into the Tennessee end of the lake, do I need a fishing license for both states? Like I said we will be launching from the north (kentucky) end of the lake every day.

As long as you don't go south of the Paris Landing bridge, a KY license is all you will need.
