Yadkin River Bass?

Featured Replies

New to Lexington, Mocksville, Coolemee area.  Used to fly fish in streams near lake erie.  Not sure what to look for in Yadkin river...would prefer bass fishing but not certain of when the best time of year is and whether I can wade from the local spots or need to float?  I am near the Coolemee access on 801 and Lexington access on 64.

Thanks!

There's catfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Spotted Bass, In some areas, Striped Bass (Possibly Hybrid instead of striped) and White Bass. There are also various Panfish and Redbreast Sunfish. I've heard rumors of Trout and Chain Pickerel as well. I'm up in Forsyth in Lewisville.
