well they didn't think we had them in these waters!!  this is where i yak on the river the most.  Literally about the halfway point on my buddy and I's favorite float spot!  I might be a bit more apprehensive to let my little mini golden mutt swim for his tennis ball around that area!

Yeah, I hear ya. They say we're too cold in the
winters for them to survive. I'm rather afraid that
it is best summed up in the immortal words of 
Dr. Ian Malcolm in Jurassic Park:
