663C Micro Guides

Any of you have this Rod and could tell me how fast the action is. I got a deal I could jump on as I'm looking for a new dedicated popper/Sammy Rod. 684cb is too light for the big sammies and the 685cb is too stiff to whip out the small poppers like Ricos. So looking to find a Rod in the Dobyns line that will compromise. 

And how does the Tatula T Wing work with the micro guides. Never used micros before...
