Just wondering if anyone matches the diameter of their fluro leader to their main line?

Is there an impact to your casting if your leader is thicker in diameter than your main?

    I don't. I pretty much use an Albright mod/Alberto
    with my braided mainline (10#PP and 15#PPSS8).

    My leaders are anywhere from 4# to 15# test.

    Uni-to-Uni as well, if I'm fussing trying to tie the
    other in a heavy wind.

    Haven't noticed any issues at all.
