Lake Wallenpaupack in Spring

Featured Replies

Hello,

i am thinking of taking my son to Wallenpaupack for a few days late May for some bass fishing, I have a small bass boat and would like to fish this lake, it's only 2 hours from me in NJ. I have read some info on some sites but most just indicate to stay away on weekends in summer. I would be fishing it during the week the week before Memorial Day weekend. Could anyone that has experience fishing this lake give me some areas to concentrate and what to use, I would be fishing for largemouth, smallmouth, and maybe even some stripers. Of course I wouldn't be against catching some Muskie or even walleye but not interested in trolling for the most part. I have a 15' bass boat with a 40 hp motor and not setup with down riggers or trolling. Thanks for the information and input.

Thank you

Ledgedale side of lake is where I would go
