Yesterday I bought 2 new trolling batteries.. This is on a 1993 BULLET 20' Vee.. Unsure of which Red & Black wires went together, I used a meter on Continuity and separated the 4 wires that way.. I hooked 2 that showed continuity on the meter to just one battery to make sure I was right.. It FRIED the charge/run switch..! Can anybody tell me why this may have happened..? And can I just wire the TM straight up and leave out the switch..? With these new batteries, I don't have room in there for the onboard charger anyhow.. I have 4 wires at the back with te batteries, but only see 3 at the bow.. 2 red and 1 black.. Then they have smaller wires attached to them as the go to the switch.. I'd greatly appreciate ANY advice..
