First Fish of the Year

Water was still cold, so had to use finesse baits. Caught the small guy on a Ned rig around a beaver lodge, and caught the big guy on a Siebert Finesse jig and Rage Chunk by a feeder creek. 

My buddy caught this Smally off that same feeder creek.

On the bank across from where we caught those 2 fish, we noticed a large small mouth cruising around with juvenile large mouth which I found kind of strange, always thought large mouth and small mouth don't really hang together. The small mouth and large mouth we caught actually weren't caught far from each other. I guess maybe because it isn't really that large of a lake they just do.
