Crankbait Storage Idea

Featured Replies

I have two nice crankbaits that were custom painted for me a while ago that I like very much.  I carry them in my "general box," which contains a lot of other tackle and lures. The paintjobs on them are very nice and I want to keep then as nice as I can when I store them.  One way that I've found to do this is by stashing them in old pill bottles (the clear/orange containers with the white caps).  That way, the paint is protected from treble hooks and other things that can damage them when they are not being fished.  I don't know if anybody else uses these, or something like it, but I hope that at least somebody can make some use out of it.
