Depth finders

Featured Replies

I currently have a Lowrance X-125. I am looking to put a 2nd depth finder on the boat. Has anyone used the Eagle Fishmark 480?  I am wondering if it is a good investment seeing as it is a Lowrance product. I know that it doesn't have the power of the X-125, but I am just looking for a few opinions.

I know that most of the Eagle products are great and i have been using Eagles for the past few years without any problems. i don't have that particular model But if it has what you need then it would be a good investment over other brands. Mainly because its a Lowrance product.

Right now I'm using a Lowrance X 67C in front and I really like it because it's easier to see the color sonar when I'm standing, even if the sun is shining on it.  Before buying the X67C, I used a flasher and I haven't noticed a big difference in performance.  Is anybody out there still using flashers and why?
