Will Daiwa Lexa pair well with Daiwa Aird Casting Rod

Featured Replies

Hey guys, my name is Dane and I am a sophomore in high school. I recently joined the forum and I really appreciate all the guys sharing their knowledge because it really helps guys like me become a better fisherman. Anyway, I purchased a Daiwa Lexa 100P and I wanted to pair it up with a rod under $100. I am looking for a crank bait rod, I have heard that the Daiwa Aird is a good rod for the price. I would really appreciate your input on this combo or would you recommend another.

          Thanks so much,

                                 Dane, Tight Lines!

Hi Dane, welcome to the forums!

I'd suspect it is a good pairing, though I'm not
as familiar with the Aird lie of rods. My son has
a Lexa 100SH and it's currently on a MF rod.

So long as the rod's bend is not in the F to XF
range, I think you'll be ok. Others who crank
more often than I should chime in soon enough.

Good luck!
