I am a poor college student who loves to fish.  I am looking to but a small aluminum boat to fish out of.  I have an 8hp honda that was on a 12' v-hull that i sold last summer before starting school.  I have been looking for another boat I like a waco B-14 jon boat and a tracker tadpole.  Both of these boats have similar layouts.  Dose anyone know anything about these abouts or have any advice.

the bps salesman told me he wouldnt sell a tadpole unless forced to. look for a used 14 ft wide jon boat. or sell me your motor and concentrate on school

Look at tracker boats Jon boat prices they are only $629 for a nice 12 footer.

Try $469 for a 12 footer.  I just bought one.  They're running them on sale right now.  I think about $650 might be almost enough for the 14 footer and $750 for the 14 footer with a live well.

There's a post somewhere regarding the "tadpole" style boats.  They seem kind of narrow and pricy to me.
