Hey all I'm looking for fishing spots on the banks of these rivers and any tips would be awesome or local lakes or ponds

What do you consider as Western Tidewater??????

The last time I looked at a map, the tidewater area was on the East coast.

Richmond has the most western tidewater and that is the James river below the falls in Richmond.

I just fish the Peninsula area.

Western Tidewater is Southampton/Sussex/Surry.  

I work in the area, but don't fish at all down there.  I know people who fish the Meherrin, Nottoway, and Blackwater River all the time.  There are also some really random sounding places I've been told to bank fish down there around Franklin and Courtland.  Including a wash ditch to fish after a heavy rain down near Newsoms.
