Didn't look for spinning, but Cabela's has a couple casting rods with pretty deep discounts.  One that kind of looked interesting to me was the Quantum Team KVD PT 7'4" MH-mod rated 1/4 to 1-1/2 oz.  (The other in that line is a 6'6" MHF.)  Both $100 rods for $40.  Sounds like a good deal if you happen to be looking for a rod with those specs, and haven't much money to spend.

I am not familiar with the KVD rods, but have a Smoke, Tour Edition PT and a couple Superlites and think they are pretty good rods.
