I have a 18' javelin F/S, and was looking into purchasing a new trolling motor that could be removed when not using the boat for fishing. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Minn Kota sells a quick disconect adapter plate that works on some of their motors.  I pretty sure it fits the bow mount and power drive.
