Has anyone tried the new alumiducers on an aluminum hull? How did it work and what thickness hull do you have?

whats the diff b/t a transducer and an alumiducer? i have an aluminum boat and am about to get my first fish finder, thats why i'm asking.

I believe it mounts on the inside of the hull. The regular transducers mount outside.

I just read a couple of reports online where they will work on .125 or 1/8" up to 50mph. This is not my personal experience or by anyone that I know. It would also depend on you unit I imagine.
