just_another_newbe
Hey Guys, I've got a neighbor that has a 2 year old bass rig that has never been in the water, it's a 14' Carolina skiff with a mercury 9.9 sitting on a galvanized trailer. he has had it two years and never used it, He runs the motor every few months in a drum of water but that's it. it has been stored since new under a car port. I'm working on a deal with him but don't know what is a good deal for this setup. can anybody help me ???

just_another_newbe
Sorry about that, what I have listed is all there is. no electronics, no live well or trolling motor. just the boat motor and trailer, He did have a factory casting deck mounted to the bow of the boat but other than that, nothing else. thanks,
fishinfool
well the motor itself is worth atleast $2000. i probably wouldn't give up more than $4000 for it. i just got a new 15 hsp yamaha and put 9.9 stickers on it so i can still run it at the smaller lakes. good luck on the deal making. and remember, if you get the boat, there's always something to work on once you start putting it in the water alot. and i mean always something to work on whether it be the boat, or the trailor. just_another_newbe
Yeah, this is my first freshwater boat. I have had a few larger salt water boats but never one this small. I'm hoping to have lots of good times with it. thanks all.
