Inboard charger?

Featured Replies

I want to know what kind of inboard charger to get. I have a 90 E-tec with its starter battery, and a seperate battery for my trolling motor. It is a 12 volt system.

Do I get a two bank system and hook up both batteries to it? Or should I not hook up the starter battery? Does a 12 volt inboard charger even have 2 banks?

Are you wanting a maintainer that works off of your motor? Or AC? Minn Kota makes and on board charger and I think Battery Tender. They make one, two and three bank systems on the ac modles. Ithink min koto starts around 36.00 and up and I have read a multi bank Battery Tender is around $150.00.

I have checked into the outboard chargeing systems and a 3 bank was going to cost I think around $500.00 and I quit checking I don't know if it is high, low or avarage but it is something I did need right now.
