Fish Finder On Ski Boat

The past few summers I have been fishing out of an in-board ski boat and decided I want to get a fish finder. Has anyone had experience mounting one on a ski boat. The engines in the center of the boat if that makes a difference. Any recommendations for fish finders as well? Thanks!

    I have friends who mounted to fiberglass with center consoles.  Might find directions/help on this forum.  I use Lowrance Elite 5 hdi combo last 3 years with Navionics card.  No worries.  Like Hummungbird and RayMarine too.  Nice units.  Research and check out in stores.  Look for sales at big box sport stores and online.  ***, BPS, Overtons, etc.
