Howdy guys, 

Just paid off my student debt, looking to sell my teenage dream 85 Porsche and an inherited ride for a down payment on a truck. My first step in getting my own boat. That new Tundra Diesel looks pretty sweet, have a buddy who works at the local toyota dealership. It's a 4.5L with 380HP and 275lb-ft of torque. Is this going to be adequate for hauling any class of bass boats? 

The engine is fine. Most people only look at that, when in reality towing has to do with truck weight and braking. A small 4cyl toyota will haul a 21ft phoenix just fine, stopping is another story. That truck would be fine for most bass boats.
