Flash floods are scary

Featured Replies

Hit up my local river Saturday morning around 9 am. Water was the usual low and clear. Spent about an hour and caught a handful of little smallies. Left to run some errands and came back about 2 hours later. Wow. The river had risen 3 feet in that time. We had some good rain this week but I've never seen it that drastic. Glad I wasn't wading. Could've easily been in a tough situation. Just a reminder to always watch the flows and don't try to be a hero. Stay safe.
