Heading out from northern VA tomorrow morning with jonboat in tow. Going to see my grandfather for Father's day. I managed to get a guided trip setup with Rogne Brown on Friday to hopefully catch some lunkers. This is my first guided trip.

I'm staying right outside of Chester Frost Park in a house with boat launch and covered dock. Anyone got any tips or cautions. I'm looking to do some night fishing if possible, as well as take my grandfather out Saturday for a little bit. 

Any HOT tackle shops to stop in on our way down(heading down 81)? Any must have local lures to get?

Stop by and chat with the guys at Soddy Custom Tackle. I was just down there 2 weeks ago for the first time and these guys were very helpful for me. As the name implies, they make many type of lures. They are north of Chester Frost a few miles.

Stopped in eztroll about an hour north of hixson. Going to hit some local shops after our guide tomorrow evening.
