as some may know my cursed Quantum Smoke bait cast reel is a disaster and its mostly my fault. i tried to take it apart a little bit and now my drag star won't go on right. any advice or good videos to watch to help?

Take apart your handle assembly and put it back according to that schematic

Send it to mike at Delaware valley tackle. 

Unless you take apart reel for a living, never start without an exploded view.

Just take a good look at the schematic and take your time. Once you've done it once or twice it's simple as there isn't much to them. Hardest part is not losing such small pieces.
