Anyone have any idea why my SI is not very detailed? It shows basic contour changes and points from the bank but it doesnt show the detail I have seen on the images online in videos or pictures. 

Did you install the transducer correctly and did you exchange the included transducer for the HDSI model?

I actually had my boat mechanic install both it and the bow mounted unit. I did not get the HD unit but I figured this unit would still show more definition than what it is. Its not showing any laydowns or tree or anything I will use the above suggestions and see if it will help it out
