A deck on my boat???

Featured Replies

I have a 14.5ft fiberglass Jon boat it's a v-hull. I measured about how far I want it to come out to it was about 50 inches or so. So if yall could list some supplies and about how much they would cost me. Or a blue print or something or were I could get one would be nice.

Thanks,

I built a little deck for a jon boat and use 3/4" plywood which has held up good. Be sure to use some kind of waterproof paint to keep the deck from bowing. Also you will want to have the deck sit at least 5" below the top on the boat. If you don't then it will become very unstable. Hope this helps at least some.

I have a deck on my 14ft jon boat. I love it. I am going to raise it up a few inches this winter. It's not hard to do. And there are plenty of resources out there.
