Featured Replies

well i done it again i got in a hurry and forgot to pull up my trolling motor....this time it stripped two teeth of off the gear on top of the shaft and it was out of time with the foot control.... i was able to get it lined back up but i was wondering if anyone has replaced that gear...is it availble seperate of the shaft....i know its not gonna last long....thanks for any imput

You should be able to get the gear, unless it's a very old out dated model. Try this www.trollnmotors.com/

I've had several appart, you just have to make sure you get the wires marked properly because if I remember right, you have to disconnect all them to get the gear off.

Might want to go ahead and get the bearings and replace them also while you have it off.  You have to take it and the head off to replace them.

its a 99 model...thanks for the info i emailed them...didnt actually see any parts on the site but maybe he can get it

yeah im pretty sure they are not to hard to replace.  look online for an authorized dealer.  there might be one close to where your at, and they should have the part or be able to get it for you.

These guys will have it if you are still having problems. I've used them twice with no regrets so far. I needed a speed control switch once and an old style prop and shear pin once.

Use exploded diagrams on left to find part and number to order, just click on your make, year, and then model for the exploded diagram.  Good luck.
