New pole size

Featured Replies

I have a 7 foot medium heavy baitcaster with 30 pound braid. I also have a medium lite action spinning setup with 15 pound braid. I fish mostly large ponds (50 acres). I fish walking baits, frogs, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, square bills, shallow cranks , lipless cranks, jigs, and texas rig worms ect. what size pole should I get. I am putting 15 pound mono on the new pole.  I usually fish the light Texas rigs on the spinning. And everything else on the braid. Now that I can have two baitcasters(one with mono and one with braid) which lures should be fished on Mono and which ones on braid. Thanks

Fish crankbaits on the Mono.

Moving baits like crankbaits, spinner baits, and buzz baits. Perhaps trebled top waters too.
