Anyone own or use a Hummingbird 47 3d fish finder?

Featured Replies

I am doing some research on fish finders, this on looks appealing to me.  Anyone out there have any experience with one?

I just ordered one and will be installing it to test out in the next couple of weeks. I will be keeping it in the bow and moving my 200dx to the console.

I just find a regular 2d sonar tough to read accurately. Especially a dual beam that has 60 degrees of detection. I know the 20 degree beam focuses on bottom, and the 60 on fish, but its hard to invision the bottom when it combines the entire image to a single 2d display.

I will write up a review when I get it.
