I was looking at buying a fish finder and was looking on line at cabelas and bass pro. Most of the ones that they have are showing the picture of the fish finder and arches on the screen to show fish. Can you change the arches so they are little fish pictures instead? Is thier an advantage with the arches? I don't understand how to read the arches so can anyone explain to me how?

You CAN most likely set it to FISH ID ON and the little fish symbols will appear instead of arches.The arches may be a full arch like in the catalogs or could come out more like straight lines,I believe that all depends on how long the fish is in the cone.(How good of an arch you get)
