Tracker V-18

Recommended Posts

I hope this helps.  I owned a V-17 Tracker for years and loved it to death. It only had a 50hp merc. But it rode and handled like a dream. It was also a very stable platform for me, I'm a big guy and had no problems. It was an older unit 1989 model, but had low hours and looked brand new when I purchased it from my ex-father in law. The only down side was the older models only had a 10 gallon fuel cell.I know that the newer models have been cured of this problem. Again,it was a great boat and the guy I sold it to has had no problems with it.

I have just bought a brand new 2005 Tournament V18 with a Merc.115 on it.I don't pick it up untill April this year.I just bought it in November at the Bass Pro Shop in Vaughn Ont.But I am really looking forward to picking it up.I love Tracker boats.I traded my 1996 ProV 16 with a Johnson 50 on it and in the 9 years I had it I never had a problem with it but I really liked the new Tour.V 18 and I'm sure you'll like yours.

I have a 2004 Tracker 17 SC with a 90HP ELPTO Merc with a stanless prop which I purchased new. I optioned it up with a 24V Minnkota Powe Drive with Auto Pilot, Co Pilot and universal sonar with an Eagle 480 on the bow and a Lowrance LMS 480 GPS on the console and yes they did increase the fuel tank capcity mine has a 30gal tank. the cost was around $14,000 new.

$9,500 for the 18 sounds good but don't be afraid to dicker. I really enjoy my boat.
