Any tips on fishing low water on hot hot days in a weedy pond

Find the pad fields and throw a frog or Texas rigged bait into the vegetation.   Find a pad area with two or more types of vegetation in close proximity  and you have hit a home run. Bass wilt be chilling right under the pads.

How about weedy but no pads?

look for pockets/openings in the weeds and cast into them with weightless plastics

Weeds that provide shade from the summer intense sun will work as long as the weeds are green, thus providing oxygen which the bass need for survival during these tough times.
