Hi,

       I have a min kota 30 pund trust transom mount and i also have a 3 hp out bout game fisher bor the back of my 12 motor/ row boat and i was woundering if you could give me any cheap soultions to moutting the trolling motor to the bow

This is to expensive for me

This isnt my boat but it lloks alittle like it exepet its not aluminum its like fiberlass/plastic

ill buy that 3 hp off of you.......... now for oyu r trolling motor try boaters world .com or westmarine i know they have a bow mount kit thats for a jon boat and will work and is cheap

you can take the head of the trolling motor off and spin it around so that the head with the speed control is facing you, but the prop is facing forward.  you should be able to mount it to the front with no problems.  if not get a 2x4 and place in the front.  take a pictue of the boat that way we can see it better.

You could get a piece of large L shaped aluminum rail fom Home Depot or Lowes, bolt it across bow and clamp your trollong motor on it. If you can't find the rail, look for similar shaped piece in elecrical or plumbing. It needs to be thick and strong enough to support the motor.
