does anyone have any info on Philpott lake we have a fom tourney there and don't know much about it.we live in coastal north Carolina were shallow water bank beaters.any suggestions?

    Guessing I found this site to late to help you out? Lots of trees downed in the water. Always had good luck fishing brown/ green pumpkin jigs around them. Being fall a smaller white crank bait works too.
