Inflatable boat

Recommended Posts

I had been thinking of buying a inflatable boat to use while in college since I do a lot of bank fishing. I would like your opinions on this and what brand or recommendation?

Thank you

Have you looked at some of the inflatable float tubes and float pontoon boats. I have seen some really neat ones on my local waters. I know the fishing kayaks are really popular as well.

I used to have a Sea Eagle SE8 and loved it. I had a Minn Kota EnduraMax on it and had plenty of room and power. It was a lot of fun

I have one I use sometimes for small private ponds(2 acres or less).. it's an "excursion" and it's 10 foot long. Has 2 rod holders. It was 150 dollars I think. It's nice. Couple beers, a fish basket full of crappie. Good stuff.

Where are you located?

I have savylor inflatable kayak, brand new plus 12v air pump anchor and paddle, I can sell the whole package for you pretty cheap. Im thinking 125 but pickup only. It is something like this.

Wow you really rigged yours nice! I used just the bench seats in front and back. That's a good looking boat

I used to have a folbot yukon folding kayak I bought off of Craigslist. I got it because I was living in a small apartment and had nowhere to store my canoe so I picked it up. they work wonders and even though they take an extra 20 minutes before you can get on The water, I really loved it. they store pretty compactly as well. they are quite a bit more pricey than inflatables, but they really are amazing boats.

Thanks, it's a nice boat.  I can load it in the back of my Nissan Frontier, use a 46 pound electric motor that pushed me around really well.
