Depth Finder reset button?

Featured Replies

I picked up a Bottom Line Tournament 1100 last year for $50 (refurb). The thing works fantastic for my little boat.

I was looking for a new location to mount it and had the bracket off the back of it and noticed and small hole with tape over it. It looks like it would be a reset button hole, but you can reset it from the power and menu buttons on front.

Does anyone know if that is a reset button in case of a problem with the front panel or could it be for some type of calibration? The thing works fine and I don't plan on experimenting, there is no mention in the manual about it either. I'd like to know in case of future problems.

Thanks, Bill
