Looking for new place to Fish

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to ask if anyone knew of any small pounds or small lakes to catch decent fish.... I live in lakeland Fl I've been to saddle creek and fished of bank all I catch is bluegill and suckers every now N than (I dont have a boat yet) so im limited I really want a bass or something new plz help any advice would be really appreciated
