Is this a good price?

Featured Replies

1976 15ft bass boat, its in good shape the hull and transom are solid, no leaks nor has it ever had any fiberglas repair, its sitting on a very nice trailer with 14" tires, it also comes with a motor guide foot controlled trolling motor that works good, all for only 250.00. Is this a good price it needs sme work and a motor. Thanks

If what you say is true... Hell yea.  Make sure you check the decking everywhere to see if any of it's rotted... $250!?!  I would be checking EVERYTHING... something seems fishy but if everything you said checks out... then i say go for it.  Even if it needs some work 250 is pretty low.

What kind of boat is it?  At that age, I'd be pretty surprised if there wasn't some rot somewhere on it.

I'd definately grab it for 250 bucks. If after digging into it a little deeper you change your mind you could probably sell it and make a nice little score toward your next boat. Even if it's no creampuff, at that price you almost can't pass it up. The old motor guide has to be worth a hundred bucks and jstyles was right about the trailer alone probably being worth the $250. Post a pic if you can.

I would buy that if it was half rotted to death. Well, maybe not. But boats like that usually go around 2500, not 250.
