My name is Alex, I am a new member. I have done extensive fishing in some of Atlanta's streams but wanted to branch out and try something new. I am limited to shore fishing only, so I had my eyes set on finding a small lake somewhat close to Atlanta to check out. I have tried fishing lakes such as Unicoi Lake and others with success but was wondering if anyone knew of small lakes (or other bodies of water that are easily fished from shore) that would be closer to Atlanta. what side of town do you live on?  there's a few folks on here from the Atlanta area that can probably offer up some ideas, but if you give a general location of where you are that'll help narrow it down.
