Just curious if anyone knows much about this motor? I'm looking at a used boat with this motor and I'm guessing the motor's age is around 1997. I know nothing about the Intruder line.

I have a 115 Evinrude Intruder....'98, almost certain.

I asked a guy down at Lake Fork at a Ranger Dealership a couple weeks ago about my motor...he said in over nine or so years, he has had TWO of those motors in for work.   His point, that is a hell of a motor, and he would recommend it.   Same story told to me by a local shop up where I currently live.
