Battery Charging ?s

Featured Replies

Couple questions guys. When I charge my battery's, do I take the lids off? And what type of water do I use if they are low? And how long do I charge them? When I charge them the needle on my charger will reach 100% and keep going quit a ways past 100%. Should I stop at 100% or let them charge till the needle stops?

It is recomended to use distiled or dionized water. The minerals and chemicals in regular tap can shorten the life of a battery. As far as looseing the caps from what I have read that is no longer recomended. Alot of automatic chargers don't bring a battery to a full charge. I always check mine with a meter.
