Ohio guys need Lk Erie advice

I know it's not the best week for a guy from Michigan to ask folks from Ohio for help but don't worry I'm a MSU guy so you just beat us.  All is right in the world ;) Now to my question where would be a good place to hold a small bass club tournament (no more than 12-15 boats) likely 2nd or 3rd weekend in July 2017 out your way, like Sandusky Bay or Marblehead Pte or what else would be good place to launch. I've mainly experienced Lk Erie on the north Shore of Canada but I'm thinking that time of the year launching out of the south is where you want to be.  Thanks for any input you might offer.

    I would suggest East Harbor.  You will have great LMB in the harbor, and if the main lake is not rocking and rolling you are a short run out to the islands and some great smallmouth fishing.
